Race doing wonders for Akshoo's career

As Race opened to great response all over and is now heading for Superhit or Blockbuster status the first beneficiary of the super business of Race is Shemaroo Entertainments Mere Baap Pehle Aap.

The not so hot Akshaye Khanna starrer has become hot property overnight with excellent terms being offered for the worldwide rights. There are four big buyers putting in bids for the rights including biggies like PVR and Pyramid Saimira. The film may well fetch over 25 crore while before Race the makers were probably looking for 15 crore.

Race stars Akshaye Khanna, Genelia D'Souza and Paresh Rawal and is directed by Priyadarshan. Mere Baap Pehle Aap is slated for a 23rd May release.

Hopefully, Priayn will deliver. Remember this is a solo hero project. If this takes off, there's nos topping Akshoo.
