Opening good in Mumbai, not good in other cities

The film opened well in Mumbai(70%) but was not good elsewhere(30-40%). The reports are on the negative side and the film may struggle to find acceptance. Better chances in metroes.(boxofficeindia.com)

Hope word of mouth drives more people to theatres!

It's one of the rarest suspense flick. I like Naqaab but I'm surprise that it has mixed reactions!! It's a plot-driven movie! Akshaye Khanna is first-rate!

The movie will flop. Seems like the movie is not good.

Start cheering for Gandhi my Father now.

Why should Naqaab flop?? Such because of some negative reviews on the web! Sorry... Abbas Mustan has proven once again that they are the best in thriller. The movie has lots of factors to be appreciated....and you all know which ones?? No matter what, the film was a very good attempt by Abbas Mustan!!

Why should we "Hope word of mouth drives more people to theatres"? Not fair! Naqaab is a well-made thriller. We should all watch it with enthusiast. It's just too good movie which is really shocking and enjoyable. I don't find anything wrong about Naqaab. People are making stupid and immature allegations. Why should we start cheering for Gandhi my Father now? Right now, you'll be cheered when you'll watch Abbas Mustan's Naqaab. It is worth to watch. A must to see. Mark my word, you'll be surprised and shocked too.

Oh I've heard lots of bad things about Naqaab from people. It not the basis of reviews found on the web. Even those are who fans of Abbas Mustan films are hating the film. You know what? If the movie is good, it'll be appreciated by everyone from critics to audience. If the movie is bad, it'll be criticized by everyone from critics to the audience. This movie is not good and I trust others judgment.

The movie is a copy of Dot the I. Its not an original piece of work, its a copy-paste job, and anything like that should be slammed to the core. I'm ashamed at the Taurani Brothers, they decided to copy a movie from the other and brag about it as if its something novel coming in Bollywood?

I'm a big fan of Akshaye, and I'm looking forward to Gandhi my Father, because this is the movie he needs right now, and there's a lot more to be proud of regarding that film as opposed to this film.

And this movie's collections will get worse once Partner releases

Naqaab is a good movie and I certainly don't trust others judgment

I'm definitely going to watch Naqaab again tomorrow

May be most of you have no good taste in thrillers. Naqaab is one of the best thrilling thrillers I have seen. Excellent job by Abbas Mustan. I love the movie. It's fantasting and yes, one should not trust others judgement.

Naqaab is a thriller flick and it is made in that way that it should be according to the tagline and the title too. So, what's the problem with Naqaab? I have watched the movie 'Dot the I'. Naqaab is not a copy-paste job!! It's a different movie with a different style.

Exactly, don't ever trust others judgement when you have not watched Naqaab yet! Go and watch it! then decide! But, don't badmouth it in front of others since it's a thriller that too not boring one. So, go and watch it if you are Abbas Mustan and Akshaye Khanna fans.

Well, one must not watch a movie just because you are their fans. You all have seen the promos, right?? You all understand that it's a thriller, right?? You all know that it's different since all the three characters wear the mask, right?? You all even know that it's a plot-driven flick, right?? And, that there's something different about this flick, right??! So, we all have to watch Naqaab to find out whether the tagline has really lived up to your expectation!! Right? No need to criticize about the performance of the characters since they are just the parts and since the movie is a plot-driven not character-driven one!! Just go and watch Naqaab and find out what's shocking?!

I have already seen Naqaab! It's better and far better than Aap kaa Surrour and Apne. And yes, Naqaab is a very intelligent movie. -Fast-paced!- Isn't it what you want and expect from every movie??! Some of you didn't like Salaam-e-Ishq because it was long! Now, you don't like Naqaab!! What's happening? What are you all waiting for?? More bad Reviews?? To see Naqaab's collections "which will get worse once Partner releases"?? To wait for Partner's release??

Hey, my boss...please go and watch Naqaab...it's really a surprise and shocking movie of the year! Try to understand what are Abbas Mustan and Shiraaz Ahmed trying to prove through the script of Naqaab?? It's a movie which is commendable and recommendable!!!!!!!!

Wow, you are absolutely right! I agree with you! Even I recommend Naqaab to everyone! I have watched it yesterday and I enjoyed this movie! It's full of surprises and thrills!

Best and Real thriller of the year! Superb Flick!! Akshaye Khanna steals the show! Urvashi Sharma is the one I would like to see more of her in her next movies that too with Akshaye Khanna again! I like their scenes together, they suit each other. Their first dance "Ek Din" was mindblowing.
Their romantic kisses were...superb! Akshaye Khanna is a better kisser than Emraan Hashmi. Akshaye Khanna looks shy and light kisser while the kiss of Emraan Hashmi looks forced, heavy and disgusting!

Saw Naqaab. Horrible film. What made Akshaye sign it??? The movie hardly does anything to help his star status. He acted well, but its not going to do much for his career.

I'm looking forward to Gandhi my Father.

Naqaab is a different movie which Akshaye Khanna did the right by signing it, Naqaab is a very good script that Akshaye always wants to do. It's not horrible! It's very different thriller that was really shocking and surprise me! It's a refreshing movie! Akshaye Khanna is exceptional and genuine in Naqaab.

Well, I have seen Naqaab yesterday night! I like it and Abbas Mustan prove their worth as a creative director! Akshaye Khanna is outstanding and superb, and I like his kissing scenes with Urvashi Sharma!

I like the ending too, it looks very creative! Still, I don't understand one thing...who's the villain finally?? Yeah, Bobby Deol reveals his shocking intention with Akshaye Khanna and Urvashi Sharma at Akshaye's house which shows that Bobby is the villain! But, later Urvashi Sharma was given a real gun by Akshaye Khanna at the award function to kill Bobby Deol! The latter dies in the hospital...And, both Akshaye Khanna and Urvashi Sharma look happy by showing that befitting smiles....who's the villain actually...?????????Bobby? or Akshaye? or Urvashi? Or, all the three?? Or only Bobby?? Or, Akshaye-Urvashi together???

Akshayefan...please tell me, I'm confused!! Who's the villain???

Anonymous said...

Me too, I'm confused about who is the real villain at the end??????

Akshayefan, you've to answer!!
