Naqaab news conference
Actor Akshaye Khanna is keeping his fingers crossed for his forthcoming release 'Naqaab', a romantic-thriller directed by Abbas-Mustan.
'I'm very passionate about 'Naqaab' and I'm really looking forward to its release,' he said at a news conference here, about the film, which also stars Bobby Deol and newcomer Urvashi Sharma.
The 32-year-old actor, however, did not divulge any more details of the film, much to the disappointment of around 50 journalists and photographers who attended the event for him.
Though his 'Salaam-E-Ishq' opened to lukewarm response, Akshaye has six more films to hit the silver screen.
His other releases include 'Tashan', 'Shortcut', 'When Kiran Met Karen', 'Aaja Nachley', 'Gandhi My Father' and 'Race'.
Akshaye, who made his debut in 1997 with 'Mohabbat', has acted in around 30 films.

I've been so disappointed with the promotion of this movie. I was looking forward to interviews, a formal music launch, and all, but we haven't been getting that.

Yeah, Naqaab still has some buzz going on. It must come out as a surprise at box-office next Friday 13th July.
Is Akshaye Khanna doing Tashan? I think that Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been finalized for YashRaj's Tashan! When did Akshaye Khanna sign Tashan? I think people are confused! Akshay Kumar is doing Tashan not Akshaye Khanna, right? Please, confirm this for me and for Akshaye Khanna's prestige?
Has Akshaye Khanna signed 'When Kiran Met Karen' already? I don't think so! Anyway, Akshaye Khanna's first debut is Himalay Putra, then Border and later Mohabbat, all these three movies were released in the same year 1997!
Any news about Shortcut and about his role in Aaja Naachle and Race??
