Two Priyan movies?

Are there two Priyadarshan movies in the offing? Until we get more confirmation, I'd say no.

I think Priyan wanted to make a movie Akshaye and was toying with different ideas ( a comedy, an action movie and a political satire) and different producers (UTV). Finally, I think they might be going ahead with Shemaroo and this comedy. Since, they are talking about schedules and stuff, I think this one is pukka.

Something tells me that this is not in Hulchul, Hungama league but Dhol kind of movie.

There are so many sexy starlets prancing around Bollywood these days, so why do they have to pick up such an unwatchable and untalented heroine like Genelia?

The movies he has lined up for next year are Shortkut, Bhaagte Raho and this one--all comedies. It doesn't look that exciting, innit? After Gandhi--My Father I'd hoped he got some serious, variety stuff at least from the arty directors. So far he hasn't.

I don't mind if Akshaye Khanna is doing more comedies. It's more important that Akshaye Khanna's role must be meatier than others and the meatiest one. Also, I'm waiting for Akshaye Khanna to give more hits, superhits and blockbusters this time. Yeah, he must do some serious roles too. And, that he must be directed by caring directors like Priyandarsan and Abbas Mustan. Also, by Farhan Akhtar again after Dil Chahta Hai. Also, he must definitely be filmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar, Mani Ratnam, Rakeysh OmPrakash Mehra, Vishal Bharadwaj, and Aditya Chopra.

Also, by Farah Khan and Sajid Khan too.

Nikhil Advani is a good director too. For instance, Kal Ho Naa Ho though Salaam-e-Ishq has bombed at Box-Office. Nikhil Advani did execute some scenes of Akshaye Khanna well in Salaam-E-Ishq. I think that Akshaye Khanna should work with Nikhil Advani soon. Not forget to mention about Farhan Akhtar who transforms Akshaye Khanna's image brilliantly in Dil Chahta Hai.

This may be off topic. I would like to talk about this, I would like to express my opinion here...Gandhi, My Father is not only better choice than Eklavya but it is also the best one. Gandhi, My Father alone deserves to go to Oscars. No two opinions about it. If Gandhi, My Father was well-received in South Africa and worldwide because of its sensible theme, then it only is the best choice for the Oscars. Eklavya should not have been nominated. Gandhi, My Father is the best choice and Chak De India stands in second position after Gandhi, My Father. I wonder what's wrong with the Jury!! Eklavya is complicated, outdated and boring! I don't think that the Oscar will understand this strange film. Whatever, since I'm from India...I wish Eklavya all the best.

And, don't forget that this is an injustice to this deserved movie Gandhi, My Father.

There's not much Akshaye can do regarding what roles and movie he gets. This is in the hands of producers and directors- they're giving better projects to actors who are less talented- that's quite confusing.

Akshaye Khanna is a great onscreen performer and he deserves to get best movies and best roles.

Do u think that Akshaye Khanna will be able to do all the four movies at the same time: Shortkut, Bhaagte Raho and Priyandarsan's next two movies (one with Shriya and other with Genelia)? I don't think that Akshaye Khanna has signed new films except Shortkut.

^They don't do all four of their movies at a time. Usually actors concentrate on two projects at a time, and then after 3-4 months they start on the other two projects they have remaining.

I can't believe that Akshaye Khanna has signed 3 more films after Shortkut! I've to wait for their shooting. Only then I'll believe!!

Ofcourse, we have to wait for the shooting of Bhaagte Raho, and Priyan's next two movies. Bcoz, last time Akshaye Khanna was supposed to do Zinda. But, it didn't happen and finally finally it was John Abraham who did it. And, I was disappointed. :(
