He said in his interview he's still shooting for Shortcut and that they only get a one day break after 10 days of filming. He's coming back to Mumbai on April 20.

^Yes, that's right...he's still shooting for Shortkut outside India with Amrita Rao and Arshad Warsi...he will return on 20th April.

The promos of Harman Baweja - Love Story 2050 is out on air already. It will be released after Akshaye Khanna's starrer Mere Baap Pehle Aap. So, when will the promos of MBPA be out?

I think Amrita Rao is done filming- she already came back to Mumbai- I saw her pics from one or two events.

I think its only Akshaye, Arshad, and the others who are there till the last day of schedule.

I saw this clip on Lehren TV? Is is true that Akshaye was dropped for Life Partner- because of demanding a high fee? They say Fardeen replaced him.

I don't know whether to believe this or not. The casting was earlier announced as having Akshaye, Fardeen, and Tusshar, then Akshaye, Bobby, and Tusshar now its Govinda, Fardeen, and Tusshar? I don't think this news is true.

Another source of the article.

MUMBAI: It looks like Akshaye Khanna is getting too big for his boots. Akshaye, who was Rumi Jaffrey's first choice for his upcoming film was dropped from the project when he asked for a whopping fee.

The film which is being produced by Abbas-Mustan will now have Fardeen Khan in Akshaye's place. A source says, 'Fardeen is very happy with the film since he hasn't signed up for a film for a long time. He was very busy attending to his father Feroz Khan who was recuperating from a knee problem.'

Akshaye, who is an Abbas Mustan favourite seems to have been replaced too speedily by Fardeen. The film will also star Govinda who is on a film signing spree after his comeback vehicle Partner. Meanwhile, Jaffrey is completing his directorial venture, God Tussi Great Ho with Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan.

I hope Akshaye doesn't get carried away with his demanding price- he's already lost out on a film. Even if the film doesn't seem all that great, losing out on any film is a big blow.

I'm not interested in Life Partner anyway. It's has unimpressive star cast like Govinda and Tushaar Kapoor. It's good that Akshaye Khanna has lost this project.

Isn't the movie's producer Vashu Bhagnani?

Does anyone think that Akshaye's announced films are always landing in problems? The Govinda-Akshaye David Dhawan movie- never took off, then he was supposely going to be cast in Renzil's film but Karan chose Vivek since he liked his acting in Shootout. That film with Sunil Shetty never went anywhere either. Now he's not doing Life Partner What's going on here??? I'm a little worried as a fan. A lot of major projects being announced show no sign of Akshaye being in the cast- he's stuck doing either a film with Anil, Priyan, or Abbas Mustan. That certainly indicates that he's not getting the chance to work with new people- the dream of supposedly man of us fans.

^That's not something new, Akshaye Khanna is always being ignored. He is rarely cast by top banners.

I also heard Bipasha wasn't interested in acting in Rumi Jaffery's film either- probably isn't such a great film afterall.

From what I read on Mid-Day, Bipasha is going to be doing another movie directed by Abbas Mustan- so chances are that Akshaye could be in that film too. Fingers crossed!
